McNulty Engineering was founded in 1997. Based in Stranorlar, Co. Donegal, the company has over two decades of engineering experience having developed a wide range of metal, mild and stainless steel fabrications in a variety of different fabrication finishes. For over 20 years, McNulty Engineering has steadily built a reputation for quality, service and flexibility and is now a leading supplier across Ireland"Customers are the lifeblood of our business."
At the beginning, it was a daunting experience leaving a well paid to job in pursuit of a road less travelled which was self employment. Two years after initially setting up and investing every penny we had in the business, our small but growing client base allowed us to diversify into fabrication and we purchased our first purpose built facility in 1997.Growing our people, serving our clients, building our communities...
The company invested heavily in top of the range cutting and folding equipment to expand its service offering and ensure reliability and consistency in all our fabrications. In September 2008, the Irish government officially acknowledged the country's descent into recession; a massive jump in unemployment occurred in the following months. Ireland as the first state in the eurozone to enter recession declared by the Central Statistics Office and it appeared no one industry avoided the difficulties associated with this time. McNulty Engineering was no different. In 2018, Mc Nulty Engineering continues to innovate with a growing a team from their base in Ballyshannon, County Donegal. The company continues to expand and offers services to all territories and counties on the island of Ireland.
